I visited Austin, TX this weekend with my sons. We hung out at the Texas Memorial Museum and stumbled upon some beautiful landscaping. This was one of the trees I saw there. I thought the bark was so striking that I had to share with “y’all.” A-hem.

So when I first started this blog, I mentioned that I would also include some of my other life’s passion: photography. I am a professional photographer on hiatus. I am taking a break from doing professional photography for a variety of reasons but continuing to master my craft so I’d like to share with you images that lift me up. Like my writings, the images are original creations of mine and I know you wonderful people will not copy these copyrighted images without giving credit where credit is due. 😉
